David's Story
After graduating from Tech I won 3 million dollars in the Pennsylvania lottery and never had to work a day in my life. Not really.... This is what really happened.... I stayed in Scranton for two years. During that time I enrolled in night classes at Lackawanna Jr. College and eventually went on to school in Pittsburgh and recived my BA degree. Spent some time in Europe and eventually went to work for a subsidiary of S.C. Johnson Wax and relocated to the Washington, DC area. Worked my way up to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, traveled extensively throughout the U.S. Stayed with the company for 15 years and eventually got tired of the travel. It was time to start a family and stay closer to home.
After my departure from S.C. Johnson I got involved in retail and industrial packaging. Presently I head up...Expand for more
an industrial and retail packaging division for a national company.
Married a great girl from Pittsburgh who is in the medical profession and we will be celebrating our 44th anniversary and we decided we must have many more. We have a daughter who graduated with a degree in packaging design and marketing and works for a design firm in Baltimore..... Our son graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in May of 2014 with a degree in computer engineering. He is currently a senior engineer with a firm in Alexandria, Virginia.
I could not have asked for more out of life. My wife and I just built our retirement home in Myrtle Beach SC. We will retire there in 2021. I really have been extremely fortunate.
